I used to chase every grocery store sale in Manchester but now I just stick to Market Basket on Wednesday mornings

Last year I'd drive all over town hitting Shaw's, Hannaford, and even the little co-op just to save a buck on chicken or bread. Then I added up my gas costs one month and realized I was spending like $15 extra to save maybe $8 total. Now I just go to Market Basket on Wednesday when they do the markdowns on meat and produce and I'm done in 45 minutes. Anyone else cut way back on the store hopping and just pick one spot?
