I swore I'd never drive to Concord for groceries, then I saw the receipt from my neighbor
I always figured Market Basket in Concord was too far to bother with, so I did all my shopping at the Hannaford 5 minutes from my place in Franklin. Then my neighbor Barb showed me her receipt from last Saturday and she paid $61 for the same cart of stuff that runs me about $92. I finally made the drive this week and even with gas I came out $24 ahead, so yeah, I was wrong. Anyone else making a regular trip somewhere just for the prices, and is there a better spot I'm missing around here?

I was wrong" hit me hard because I drove past that Concord Market Basket for years telling anyone who'd listen it was a waste of gas, then my wife did the math and I looked like a real genius. Turns out gas costs less than my pride.
