Finally found my favorite grocery deal down in Nashua after comparing Market Basket and Hannaford for a month

I tracked which store had the best prices on my weekly staples, and Market Basket came out $23 cheaper on average for the same stuff. Has anyone else noticed that big difference between the two chains?

Market Basket really is the GOAT around here, I've done the SAME exact comparison and came away with almost the same number. Hannaford keeps raising their prices on produce while Market Basket stays steady, it's wild to see the gap on a whole shopping trip. Makes you wonder how Hannaford stays in business with that much of a difference.

Hannaford's prices are higher for a reason though. Their produce lasts twice as long in my fridge and their meat counter actually has butchers who know what they're doing. Market Basket's cheap prices are great until you get home and find out those $1.99 avocados are rock hard or rotting inside the next day. Paying a little more for stuff that doesn't go bad in two days is worth it if you ask me.
