Swapped the 3AAA light in my bag for a single AA two months ago and my pocket feels lighter
I used to carry this cheap 3 AAA light in my jacket pocket and it always felt like a small brick. Two months ago I switched to a single AA light and the weight difference hit me the first week. The old one was 3.4 ounces, the new one is 1.9 ounces, and I barely notice it now. The runtime is shorter on high but I mostly use low so it works out. Has anyone else gone down to a smaller cell just for the pocket feel, or am I overthinking the ounces?

Two months ago I did the same thing with a 2AA to 1AA switch and never looked back.
