DAE carry a flashlight because a hotel in Omaha killed the lights on me?
Stayed at a place off I-80 last month and the power cut out around 11pm, so I felt my way down three floors with a phone at 4 percent. Now a little AAA light rides in my front pocket next to my wallet. What's the smallest light you all trust to actually be there when the grid quits?
Tbh that "felt my way down three floors with a phone at 4 percent" line gave me a pit in my stomach. I read somewhere that a phone flash drains a dying battery crazy fast, so a tiny keychain light makes way more sense than trusting the phone.
