That reminds me of my laptop camera light getting stuck on once, freaked me out, good point about the LED @emma_perez.

I've actually worked in IT security for a few years now, and the risk from an uncovered webcam is pretty low if your device is updated. Modern operating systems have a hardwired LED that lights up when the camera is active, which is a solid physical tell. I worry more about people clicking bad links than someone hacking a camera feed.

Yeah, the part about clicking bad links is so true. Most breaches happen because of phishing (which is just tricking people, really). It's easier to hack a person than a computer.
