Pro tip: I used to think password managers were for paranoid people

Took me a while to admit I was wrong about this. A buddy of mine who works in IT at a small college in Ohio sat me down last spring and showed me his setup. He pulled up his password manager and had like 200 different logins, all with unique random passwords. I told him I just reuse the same 3 passwords for everything. He laughed and then asked if I knew how many data breaches had my email in them. I checked that site haveibeenpwned and found out my email was in 4 breaches. That was the moment. He didn't lecture me, just showed me the facts. I started using Bitwarden that same week and now I can't believe I went so long without it. Has anyone else been stubborn about this and finally caved?

Gotta say I still don't use one and it's been working fine for me. I get why people like them but I just keep my passwords in a notebook at home and change them every few months.
