My router's firmware update locked me out of my own home network for 3 hours last Tuesday
I forgot to write down the new admin password before hitting update, so I had to dig out the old ethernet cable from a drawer and do a factory reset while my wife kept asking why the wifi was called NETGEAR46 again, and now I'm wondering if anyone else keeps a written copy of their router login somewhere besides a browser they might clear.
