My local coffee shop now has free Wi-Fi with no password. Some customers love the convenience, others worry about data leaks. Where do you stand?

Free Wi-Fi with no password is the best thing ever. My regular cafe does this too, and it saves so much hassle. I can jump online right after ordering, no stupid login pages. Finished my online course homework there just yesterday.

Read a tech article saying open networks are easy for hackers to sniff data on. A VPN can help lock things down though. I still use the free connection but only for casual browsing.
