My co-worker showed me a phishing email spoofing our CEO and it was scary good

Last Tuesday at my desk in Austin, Sarah from accounting forwarded me an email that looked EXACTLY like our CEO's style. She said 'I almost clicked it because they used the same signature block and greeting he always uses.' The email asked her to buy $500 in gift cards for a client emergency. I checked the headers and the domain was off by one letter. It's wild how good these scammers are getting with personal details. How do you train people to spot emails that look this legit?

And that's exactly why we need to do simulated phishing tests monthly so people get used to the real thing.
