Locked myself out of my own router for 2 hours until I tried the sticker trick
I reset my home router after a storm killed the wifi and could not remember the admin password I set back in 2021, so I tried the default login on the sticker underneath, and it worked because I never actually changed it, which scared me enough to finally set a real one that same night.
