Just realized I've been storing my passwords in a browser notes app for years

Found out last month when my kid accidentally synced my phone notes to their tablet and all my logins popped up. Has anyone else done something this stupid or am I the only one who needs to switch to a password manager ASAP?

A buddy of mine kept his work VPN password in a sticky note taped to his monitor. Same guy wrote his bank PIN on a post-it and stuck it on his credit card. He only switched to a manager after his dog ate the sticky note and he had to call IT for a reset. Now he uses one of those apps and swears by it. Your kid syncing the notes is actually kind of a blessing in disguise, honestly.
