I ditched my password manager for a notebook and it's been fine

The choice was between trusting a cloud service with all my logins or writing them down in a physical book. I picked the book because I saw a report about a big password company getting hacked last year. Anyone else just keep it simple on paper?

Yeah I did the same thing after that LastPass breach. My notebook stays in my desk drawer at home, so it's not like I'm carrying it around. Feels way less risky than having all my stuff sitting on some company's server, even if it's encrypted. The only pain is updating passwords, but it's not that bad. Honestly, the peace of mind is worth the little bit of extra hassle for me lol.

Totally get that, feels like a quiet little rebellion now.
