Blew $400 on a hardware key setup for my parents and I'd do it again, fight me
Everyone on here says password managers and 2FA apps are enough, but my dad clicked a fake bank link in March and I watched a $400 YubiKey setup save his retirement account from a SIM swap attempt. The phone based 2FA is the weak link and nobody wants to admit it. Has anyone actually gotten their parents to use a physical key without a 30 minute phone call every time?
