The old train station in my town has a hidden poetry corner
I stopped by the abandoned depot on Maple Street last Tuesday to take photos for a scene in my story, and I noticed a corkboard tucked behind the ticket window. Someone had pinned up maybe 20 handwritten poems, all different styles and ages, some on napkins and receipt paper. I asked the guy sweeping the platform about it, and he said it's been there for years, locals just add to it whenever they want. Has anyone else found random writing spots like this in unexpected places? I'm thinking of making it the setting for a prompt about strangers leaving messages.

Maple Street's not the one with the depot, that's Cedar.
