That $50 writing prompt generator I bought was complete garbage

I wasted $50 on this app that claimed to generate fresh creative writing prompts based on your genre and style. Sounded great for when I'm stuck. But every single prompt was super vague like "write about a door" or "a character finds something." I could sit and stare at a blank page for free, I don't need to pay for that. The worst part was the prompts kept repeating after like 20 uses, same ones over and over. I tried to get a refund but the developer ghosted me. Has anyone else wasted money on a writing tool that just didn't deliver?

Did your friend try asking for money back on Paypal?

Did he try going through Paypal's resolution center first, or just message the seller directly? 'Cause sometimes that makes a difference with how fast they step in.
