Sat in a coffee shop for 2 hours and noticed how people order

I was at Brew & Bean on Main Street last Tuesday, just killing time before a meeting. Watched 12 people walk in and 10 of them stared at the menu board for a solid minute before ordering the same latte. Has anyone else noticed how we freeze up when there's too many choices, even for something simple like coffee?

Same exact thing happened to me last week at a different spot.

@the_drew yeah it's wild how we just default to the same thing. I do that with the menu at my local diner, stare for five minutes then order a burger. Choice overload is real even for small stuff lol.
