I just hit 50 unfinished story ideas in my notes app

I was cleaning out my phone and counted them all. It's a mix of one-line concepts and half-written scenes from the past two years. The number surprised me because I always feel like I'm out of ideas when I sit down to write. Has anyone else found a good way to pick which old idea to actually finish first?

Honestly that sounds like a good problem to have. I never look at a pile of old ideas and feel stuck, I see a bunch of options. Just pick the one that makes you excited right now, not the one you think you should finish. The trick is to stop treating your notes like a to-do list and start treating it like a menu.
