Vent: when do you walk off a job over rigging disagreements?

I had a job last month in Memphis where the site super kept insisting we use a 2-leg choker on a load that was clearly rated for 4 legs. I told him the math, 12,500 pounds on a 10,000 pound rating, and he said it was fine because the lift was only 15 feet. I refused and he threatened to call my dispatcher. We got it sorted but it got me thinking, where is the line for you guys between being flexible and digging in? I know the book answer is always safety first, but in the real world you catch flak for slowing the crew down. Do you hold your ground every time or pick battles based on the client? Has anyone else dealt with a super who acts like load charts are just suggestions?
