I called those anti-two-block alarms a crutch for lazy operators, then one saved my butt on a 60-ton in Tacoma
Was running a 60-tonner off a barge in Tacoma last month and the alarm caught my block creeping up while I was focused on a blind pick over the water. Now I want to hear from the old heads, does the alarm make new guys sloppier or did I just get lucky that day?
