A retired operator in Tulsa asked me why I still rig by feel instead of checking my load chart twice
I laughed it off at first but he pulled out a laminated card from his 40 years on lattice booms and showed me how fast a 3 degree boom angle error adds up at 90 feet. Anyone here actually run the math on every pick or do most of us still go off gut?
