Spent $60 on a used moving dolly off CL and it saved my back in a 4th floor walkup in Queens
Saw a listing for a heavy duty hand truck for $60 in Astoria last Tuesday and figured worst case I'm out a little cash. The seller met me in a parking lot behind a bodega and the thing looked beat to hell but rolled fine, so I handed over the cash. Fast forward to Saturday, I used it to haul a mini fridge and 12 boxes up four flights of stairs with zero trips back down. The ad said barely used, which was a total lie, one wheel squeaks like crazy. Anyone else buy used gear that looked rough but ended up being the best money you spent all year?
