Just realized the guy who sold me a $50 drill press in Reno was warning me about something way bigger
Met this older dude in a Reno parking lot last week to buy a used drill press, and after the cash changed hands he got real serious and said "check every tool you buy for a hidden GPS tag before you take it home." I laughed it off until he showed me a little tracker taped under the motor housing, said his own brother got robbed two days after selling a welder because a buyer followed the signal back to his shop. I peeled mine apart in the driveway and found nothing, but now I flip over everything. Has anyone else run into this, or was this guy just messing with the new kid?
