Drove 2 hours to buy a $60 table saw from a guy in Modesto and I'm still not sure if I got lucky
Found a listing for a used table saw for $60, which felt way too cheap, but the pics looked fine so I texted the guy anyway. He said he was moving out of state Friday and just wanted it gone, so I drove 2 hours to Modesto hoping it wasn't a trap or a scam. Turned out the saw was in great shape, he even threw in an extra blade and helped me load it into my truck. My buddy keeps saying I got lucky and the next one will be a dud, but I've done maybe 8 of these sketchy-looking deals now and only one went bad. Am I fooling myself or have other people had decent luck with the too-cheap-to-be-real listings?

Read an article saying most flippers price low just to move stuff fast.
