TIL a $320 vacuum sealer cut my beef jerky failure rate from half to zero
I run a little jerky and dried fruit thing out of my kitchen in Boise and was tossing about half of every batch because it went moldy within two weeks. Dropped $320 on a chamber vacuum sealer and now stuff from six weeks ago still tastes fresh, so that one buy paid for itself fast. But I'm wondering if the cheaper $80 suction sealers actually hold up too, since my cousin says his works fine and he saves the money, has anyone here tried both?
