My aunt's spreadsheet made me drop my fancy inventory app

I spent 6 months tracking my candle sales with this $20 app and still couldn't figure out why I kept running out of my best scent. Then my aunt from Tulsa showed me her homemade Google Sheets setup with simple formulas for reorder points. She had me list every sale for 3 weeks and it was obvious the app was hiding slow movers behind totals. Has anyone else gone back to basic tools after paying for software that just overcomplicates things?

And your reorder point math is what actually saves you, cause apps just show you totals that hide the real slow movers. I do the same thing now with a basic sheet and a simple formula, never looked back.
