Just realized I was overcomplicating my soap labeling
I used to spend hours designing fancy labels with my Cricut for each batch of cold process soap, but last month I switched to simple handwritten tags on kraft paper after a customer at the farmer's market in Burlington said she liked the 'homemade feel'. Now I save about $40 a month on materials and actually get more compliments! Has anyone else found that going simpler helped their sales?

Huh, is saving $40 a month really that big of a deal though?

Used to think $40 was nothing too. But then I did the math over a year and it's almost $500. That's a decent chunk of money I was just lighting on fire for no reason. It's not about the monthly amount, it's about the habit and what that cash could do instead. Small stuff adds up way faster than people realize.
