Warning: I keep seeing people mix up the 'debunking' and 'debating' parts of conspiracy theories.

They'll spend hours arguing over a single detail from a 2017 YouTube video, but never actually engage with the core logic of the claim. How do you even start a real debate if you can't agree on what the basic facts are?

Ever try to nail jello to a wall? That's what debating those guys feels like. Where do you even start when the facts are made of rubber?

Honestly, davidb49 nailed it with the jello thing. You can't even start a debate when they keep changing what the "facts" are.

Ever feel like you're trying to solve a puzzle where someone keeps handing you pieces from a different box? I've spent so long going down rabbit holes on single details that I forget what we were even talking about to begin with. It's like getting lost in the weeds and then realizing you're not even in the right garden. At that point, you just have to laugh at how silly the whole thing is, or you'd go crazy.
