Vent: I believed the "do your own research" crowd for 2 years until I traced one of their sources back to a single blog post with no author name
Last Tuesday I finally looked up who actually wrote the "study" everyone in my group chat kept sharing, and it was a WordPress page from 2019 with zero data and a dead contact link, which made me wonder how many other things I've repeated without ever checking the source.
