Unpopular opinion: The moon landing faking theory ignores one huge detail that kills it
Last week at a diner in Austin, this guy next to me starts going on about how NASA faked the moon landings in 1969. He had all the usual points about shadows and flags waving. But I asked him about the radio transmissions. We had live broadcasts from the moon that were tracked by multiple countries with their own gear. If it was a hoax, the Soviets would have called it out instantly since they were watching everything. No way they keep quiet for decades if they had proof. Did anyone else ever press a truther on this specific point and get a real answer?

lol the "multiple countries tracked it" argument always gets em quiet. i can't even get my wifi to work in my own basement half the time, let alone fake a whole lunar broadcast that multiple superpowers verify in real time. like i barely managed to keep my tamagotchi alive in 97 but somehow NASA pulled off the greatest hoax in history with zero leaks for 55 years? sure, jan.
