Tried the whole 5G tower protest thing near my town and got a totally different result than I expected

So about 2 years ago there was a group of people in my neighborhood who went out to protest a new 5G tower going up by the old water tower on Oak Street. I decided to go check it out because I was curious about the health concerns people keep talking about online. Got there with my buddy Mike and we stood around for maybe 45 minutes. But then an engineer from the company actually showed up and started answering questions directly. He showed us the actual radiation output numbers and compared them to a microwave and a wifi router. Turned out the tower was putting out way less than I expected. I still think some of the stuff around signal tech is sketchy but that one guy changed my mind on this specific tower. Has anyone else ever had a tech person show up and explain things at a protest?

My friend Jenna actually went to one of those protests last summer over in Millbrook. She was all fired up about it too, had the signs and everything. But then this one guy from the telecom company walked over with a little device that measured radiation and showed her the levels right there on the spot. He even let her hold the meter herself while he stood next to the tower. She said it was lower than what her phone puts out when she's streaming Netflix in bed. After that she felt kind of silly but also said it was good to actually see the numbers instead of just reading scary stuff online. I think having someone who actually knows the tech show up makes a huge difference, way more than just yelling at the tower.
