I think the moon landing hoax stuff is a distraction from the 1967 Apollo 1 fire
I visited the Kennedy Space Center in Florida back in 2019 and saw the actual Apollo 1 capsule hatch on display, and I noticed the scorched metal around the bolts looked way too clean for a pure oxygen fire that burned for 5 minutes. Most people in these groups argue about whether we went to the moon, but nobody ever brings up how the three astronauts died in a ground test just months before the first successful mission. Why does the conspiracy crowd skip over the one event where the government openly admitted fault and changed the whole command module design?
