Guy on a moon forum told me my shadow analysis was off by 3 degrees, so I stopped eyeballing it
I used to just look at a lunar photo and guess the light angle, then call it fake or real. Someone on a forum pulled 3 craters and showed my angle was off, so now I overlay a protractor grid on every shot before I say anything. How do you all check shadow angles without spending 20 minutes on it?
