Got into a debate with a cab driver in Austin about chemtrails and he actually had me second guessing for a minute.
He pulled out his phone and showed me flight radar data from three different days with those long lasting trails and I just sat there quiet for like ten blocks before I could even think of a response, has anyone else had a random conversation like that completely shake what you thought you knew?

Oh honey, you fell for that? Look, I've lived in Texas my whole life and those cab drivers will tell you anything to keep you talking, they get bored sitting in traffic all day. That flight radar data doesn't prove anything except that planes fly different routes on different days, and those long trails are just contrails that hang around when the humidity is right. I mean, why would anyone spend millions of dollars on a secret airborne spraying operation when they could just put stuff in the water supply like normal people do?

Lol @verap52 you're so right. It's like those people who think every cloud is a government experiment when sometimes a cloud is just a cloud, you know? The whole thing reminds me of how folks treat weird noises in their car like it's a ghost when it's just a loose heat shield.

I actually read something from a pilot once who said those long lasting trails are just normal contrails that spread out in certain atmospheric conditions. Called them "persistent contrails" and said they've been documented since the 1940s. Made me feel a lot better about those weird looking sky lines.
