Finally spoke up at a dinner party about the moon landing footage and didn't get laughed out of the room

Last Saturday at my sister's place in Arlington, I calmly explained the shadow angle inconsistencies in the Apollo 11 photos and three people actually nodded instead of rolling their eyes, so has anyone else found that one small fact is enough to get a real conversation started?

Oh I had almost the exact same thing happen at a backyard barbecue last month. I mentioned how the shadows on the lunar surface don't all point the same direction and someone's uncle admitted he never thought about it before. It's wild how one little detail can open the door.
