Tried a new sealer on a garage floor and it went completely wrong

I had a job in Springfield last month where the homeowner wanted a high-gloss finish. I used a brand called 'ShieldCoat' that the supplier swore was the best for the money. I followed the directions exactly, two coats with a roller, but it dried with these awful cloudy streaks everywhere. The whole floor looked blotchy and the client was not happy. Has anyone else had this happen with a water-based sealer, and what did you do to fix it?

ShieldCoat" has done that to a few guys I know. Cloudy streaks are the worst, man.

Check if the floor was completely dry before you started. Tyler492 mentioned it happening to other guys, and moisture under the sealer can cause that cloudiness. A moisture meter would have been a good call.

That ShieldCoat problem in Springfield sounds exactly like my last job. I had to strip the whole floor and start over.
