Stamped concrete edges came out crisp because I ignored the rush to power trowel
My crew was setting up for a stamped patio pour yesterday. Everyone says to hit it with the power trowel right away for speed. I made them wait and hand floated the perimeter first. The stamp pattern stayed sharp and the client was thrilled. Rushing with power tools isn't always the best move.

Honestly, seeing that come from a contractor forum lines up with what I notice everywhere. Tbh, it's a whole pattern where some niche advice leaks out and gets repeated by everyone. Ngl, I watch the same fix-it tips or life hacks start in these expert groups and then pop up in regular conversations. It feels like half the stuff people say now just got copied from a forum thread somewhere. The way ideas spread so fast these days makes all advice feel recycled. You hear something enough times and it just becomes fact, even if it started in some random corner of the internet.
