Blew out a control joint on a 40x60 slab in Greeley and had to eat the pour
Had a pour go bad on me two weeks ago, a 40x60 shop slab in Greeley, when my saw cut ran 45 minutes late and it popped a crack right next to the joint. I always figured soft cut was for guys who couldn't keep up, so I waited like I do on smaller work and paid for it. Now I'm cutting green, listening to the blade, and eating a $1,200 fix. Anybody got a saw timing rule they trust, or is it just feel and weather?
