Why does nobody talk about the bus driver who plays polka music at 7am

For two years I took the 6:45 bus out of downtown Portland and it was always dead silent except for people coughing. Then last month my usual driver retired and this new guy named Ron took over. Ron blasts polka music from a little Bluetooth speaker he tapes to the dashboard. At first I was annoyed because I like to read on the bus. But now I actually look forward to it. The weird thing is nobody complains and some people even tap their feet. Have any of you ever had a bus driver who played their own music? How did you handle it?

22 mornings of Ron's polka and nobody's asked him to stop. That's polite Portland for you.

Honestly, polka at 7am is a public nuisance and Ron should respect people trying to sleep.
