Warning: The 7:15 express bus vs the 7:30 local is a whole different world

For the last three months I've been testing both the 7:15 express and the 7:30 local bus on my route into downtown. The express costs $2.50 more but it's a game changer. It skips 12 stops and gets me to work a full 25 minutes faster, plus it's way less crowded. The local is always packed by the 5th stop and I'm stuck standing the whole way. That extra 15 minutes of sleep isn't worth the stress. Has anyone else found a specific bus or train time that's secretly way better than the others on the same line?

Totally get this... the 6:50 vs 7:10 on my line is the same story. That earlier one looks empty and feels like a waste of time waiting at the stop... but by the third stop on the later bus, you're packed in like a sardine and someone's backpack is in your face the whole ride. Paying a bit more for the express is worth every penny for a seat and some quiet time.

The express pass is basically paying for your sanity at that hour. A few extra bucks to avoid the morning crush (and weird backpack smells) is a no-brainer. Your future self will thank you for the quiet ride.
