Used to hate taking the 7 bus but the B line changed my mind
I always avoided the 7 bus on Main Street because it stopped every two blocks and took 45 minutes to go 3 miles. Then I tried the B line express on 5th Avenue last month and it cut my commute to 18 minutes flat. The real difference was the dedicated lane and fewer stops, so I actually get a seat now. Has anyone else switched routes and found a way better option in their city?

Yo @oliviahenderson, honestly the seats feel like they're stuffed with cardboard or something, but at least I'm not standing anymore.

The B line express on 5th Avenue" - man, that takes me back. I used to take the 12 city bus that zigzagged through every neighborhood and took forever. Switching to the R express bus was like discovering fire. I was so used to showing up sweaty and late that my coworkers joked I looked like I'd just run a marathon. Now I actually arrive with my dignity intact, which is a miracle for someone who used to trip over their own feet getting on the bus. Did you find the B line seats are actually cushiony or still hard as rocks?
