Tried standing on the last car of the L train to avoid crowds, big regret.
The swaying was so bad I nearly threw up on somebody's laptop, has anyone else found a spot that actually works for rush hour?

That bit about nearly throwing up on someone's laptop got me laughing cause I've been there. Honestly the trick nobody talks about is finding the spot right between two subway cars - like standing in the doorway area where the accordion part is. Yeah you get a weird rattling noise but the sway is way less intense cause you're basically at the pivot point. I used to commute on the 7 train and that spot saved me from losing my breakfast more than once.

Of course I learned that trick after already decorating some poor stranger’s shoes.
