The bus stop bench on 5th and Main taught me something about timing

I waited 25 minutes for my usual route last Thursday, and while I sat there I noticed this old wooden bench has a crack that lines up perfectly with where everyone puts their bag. It got me thinking about how we all stand at the exact same spot, checking the same app, hoping for the same thing. Then the 12 bus pulled up two minutes early and the 47 was late, and I realized the schedule is just a suggestion anyway. Has anyone else noticed their stop has a weird quirk like that, or is it just mine?

Man, that crack thing is way too real. Every bus stop has that one weird spot and everyone just knows it without saying anything. You could move the bench a foot and people would still stand in the old spot out of habit. The schedule being a suggestion is the truest thing I've heard all week. Timing is just a game we all lose eventually.

That crack thing is basically an unspoken social contract at this point, like we all secretly agree the universe picks the spot for us. And honestly, the bus schedule being a lie is half the fun, you just embrace the chaos or you never get anywhere.
