The 7:15 express bus got quiet for a full month, and I finally figured out why
It turns out a nearby middle school switched their start time from 8:00 to 9:00 in September. Suddenly, the bus wasn't packed with loud, energetic kids anymore. Has anyone else noticed a big shift in their usual route's vibe this fall?

It's amazing how one small change can ripple out like that. I've seen similar shifts when a big office building changed its hours. The whole morning rush at the corner store just vanished overnight. It makes you realize how much our daily routines are tied to schedules we don't even control. The quiet on your bus must be a nice change, even if it took a while to solve the mystery.

Read about how school start times affect city traffic patterns.
