The 7:15 bus to Oakland got 12 minutes faster and I finally found out why
For two years I rode the 7:15 bus from Alameda into Oakland and it took about 45 minutes door to door. Back in April it started getting me there in 33 minutes, and I couldn't figure out what changed until a driver named Ray explained it. The city switched the bus-only lane on Broadway to run during morning rush instead of all day, so cars stopped blocking it and we just glide past everything. Anyone else notice their route got faster this spring, or is it just the Broadway corridor?
