Showerthought: A bus driver in Denver told me to sit on the left side past Broadway and I finally tried it
He said the right side bakes in the afternoon sun on the 15 route, and after 3 rides I'm a believer, no more sweaty shoulder. Anyone else got a seat or side tip like that for their line?
Is it really that big of a deal though? Like, the sun hits the whole bus, not just one side. I rode the 15 for two summers and yeah it gets hot but you just crack a window or deal with it for a few stops. Sitting on the left past Broadway means you're stuck staring at buildings and dumpsters instead of the park too. Maybe the driver was messing with you and now you're passing it on like it's some secret code. Some of these seat tips sound more like a lucky spot than actual science.
