Realized on the L last Tuesday I was doing the whole morning rush wrong
I always sprinted down the stairs at the Logan Square stop to catch the 7:42, and last Tuesday I flat out ate it on the last two steps because my bag strap caught the rail. A guy in a Bears hat helped me up and said, "Buddy, the train waits for the doors, not for you," and then I stood there watching the next one pull in 4 minutes later while I rubbed my knee. Now I'm not sure if hustling for the early train is worth the risk or if I'm just being soft by walking down like a normal person. Which side are you on, do you run for it or let it go?
