Just realized nobody on my bus knows how to use the back door properly
Every single morning at the 3rd Street stop, people crowd the front door while the back door sits empty because they won't push the bar to open it... I timed it yesterday and it added 4 extra minutes to the route just from that. Why do so many riders ignore the clearly labeled "push to open" signs on the back exit?

The "push to open" signs might as well be invisible from what I see. People just stare at the front door like it's the only way out, even when the bus is half empty in the back. It's frustrating because it's not hard to push a bar, you know? Maybe they're scared of getting yelled at or something, but the time wasted is insane. Four extra minutes every morning adds up fast.

Man I swear it's like people turn off their brains the second they step on public transit. I've seen the same thing with people holding up the line at CVS staring at the credit card reader like it's gonna bite them, then after 10 seconds they finally tap their card. Makes you wonder if everyone's just operating on autopilot these days. Idk maybe it's just me but it feels like common sense stuff is getting rarer by the year.
