Hit 1,000 trips on my transit card last week and it got me thinking about the small stuff
I checked my card balance last week and saw I had just logged trip 1,000 over about three years of riding the 5:45 bus. It surprised me because I never really tracked it, but it also made me think about all the little habits I have built up. For one, I always stand near the front door because the back doors on this route stick in cold weather. I also started carrying a small flashlight after a driver skipped my stop in the dark once. The bigger thing is I now leave 10 minutes earlier than I used to because the 5:45 is either right on time or 8 minutes late, never in between. What small tricks have you all picked up after riding the same line for years? I am curious if anyone else has hit a milestone like this and changed their routine because of it.
