Heard a guy on the 7:15 talking about his "quiet car" idea and I can't stop thinking about it
This morning on the express bus to downtown, this guy was on his phone telling someone we should have a car where nobody talks, no phones, just silence. I almost laughed out loud because my bus has a guy who watches TikTok on full volume every single day at 7:15, right next to the driver. It got me thinking, would that even work in real life or would people just ignore it like they do the no eating rule? I've tried headphones, noise cancelling ones too, and I still hear his videos about cooking hacks. Has anyone actually ridden a train or bus that tried the quiet zone thing, and did it hold up for more than a week?

Bet it'd last about as long as the no-smoking signs in the 90s, but with more angry stares and quieter passive aggression.
